Welcome to Holy Spirit Primary School.

Holy Spirit offers an excellent learning program based on the Australian and A.C.T curriculum delivered by enthusiastic and dedicated staff members. A number of significant pedagogical beliefs that support best teaching practice underpin all teaching and learning at our school.  The school prides itself on providing a rich and varied curriculum, with a strong focus on Numeracy and Literacy and an excellent Values Education Program. The students are exposed to the most current technologies with interactive whiteboards in all of the classrooms, class iPads and access to either our school or library computer labs. The classrooms have been recently refurbished and provide a bright and stimulating learning environment.
Holy Spirit Catholic Primary School, Nicholls, is a unique primary school in the Australian Capital Territory. It is one of three companion Catholic primary schools in the Holy Spirit Parish of Gungahlin. Holy Spirit is a well-resourced school with spacious playgrounds and well-resourced learning environments.

Holy Spirit is an inclusive school and we strive to provide the best education for students embracing Catholic faith and values. As a Catholic school we do accept members of other faith traditions who support our beliefs. At Holy Spirit we value quality partnerships between families, school staff, our parish and the community. Each and every person works collaboratively to support the education and development of each student at the school. The school provides high levels of pastoral care and has clear and effective behaviour management procedures in place. Holy Spirit promotes the development of knowledge, skills and values so that the children can develop into active lifelong learners helping them to lead satisfying lives and contribute and live successfully in society.

Our school provides a wide range of services to assist all students including a Defence School Transition Aide (DSTA). Our students are also given many opportunities to be involved in enrichment activities including sport, individual music tuition, choir, French and Mini Vinnies.

Holy Spirit also shares a special partnership with Gold Creek Primary School, whereby the two schools jointly use a range of facilities including the library, hall and oval.
